Code of Conduct
Foreword
The integrity of the company is an important foundation of our business relationships. This applies both to internal dealings and to external relationships with our business partners (customers, suppliers, service providers) as well as with other parties such as authorities, financial service providers or insurance companies.
These corporate principles of Deisenhammer GmbH are the basis for working in our company. They represent an ethical and moral obligation for all our employees and also define the standards we set for our actions and for ourselves. This also includes the expectations we have of our business partners.
Employees can contact their line manager or the management at any time if they have any questions or uncertainties. The Quality Management department is the point of contact for external partners. It can be contacted at compliance@deisenhammer.at .
Gender-specific formulations refer equally to the female and male form.
Compliance with the law and legislation
We comply with applicable laws and regulations in all countries in which we operate. This is a matter of course for us, and we expect the same from our business partners and customers.
Fair competition
Transparent, fair and professional behaviour on the market serves to safeguard our interests in the long term and helps Deisenhammer to achieve secure and sustainable competitiveness. For this reason, we do not participate in price fixing. Suppliers and service providers are treated honestly and fairly. Purchasing decisions are made exclusively on the basis of quality, deadlines and price.
We are committed to fair, free and open competition. We expressly reject the unlawful exchange of information, price fixing, market sharing or similar unauthorised and immoral practices of any kind. We do not tolerate violations of competition laws in any way.

PROHIBITION OF BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION
Bribery and corruption are generally not permitted and are not tolerated by the company. Our employees are prohibited from accepting or granting favours of any kind (cash, travel, gifts, etc.) that are linked to an improper advantage (awarding of contracts, project awards, etc.).
Our business partners are also required to avoid conflicts of interest that harbour a risk of corruption.
ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS
If gifts are offered by third parties, they may only be accepted if they are common practice and can be recognised as a courtesy or favour (promotional gifts with the logo of the giving company, such as calendars or pens).
In the case of gifts with a value exceeding the usual amount, the management must be informed. If this is not possible, these gifts must always be refused.
Gifts on our part may also only be offered within the usual framework for the business relationship and to a materially appropriate extent. The recipient must not be able to associate any obligation with it that would influence his or her business decisions.
